We are looking for new members to help with development of this great client. If you think you've got what it takes to work with us on the biggest RuneScape application ever, we want to hear from you!

F.A.Q.

What would I do as a SwiftKit team member?
Your primary objective is to help the development of the client. We need team members who are able to suggest new and innovative ideas which are technically plausible, while liaising with both team member-level staff and senior staff to create excellent developments for SwiftKit and potentially other Bluelightdev products.

What sort of skills do I need?
We have outlined this in our "Requirements" section to the right

I don't have any skill with programming, does this mean I can't apply?
Absolutely not! Having skill with computer programming is just a small bonus which would help your application. We are looking for dedicated RuneScape players with exciting ideas to help improve SwiftKit.

How does the team develop SwiftKit?
We primarily frequent an IRC channel on the SwiftIRC network for development - which you will be well informed of if your application is successful. We also have a private forum on RuneScape Community where more complex discussion takes place. From time to time we will also use Teamspeak if we are so inclined!

How much do I get paid?
A lot. With our love. SwiftKit is a free program, as a result we do not make any money to pay you guys! It is strictly voluntary.

I'm going to be bossy, arrogant and annoying
Need not apply!

Requirements

Maturity
While we don't have an age limit (not that you'd tell the truth anyway), we require all successful applicants to be mature.

Excellent grammar
All successful applicants will speak and write fluent English and will be able to convey this over IRC and in our forum.

RuneScape experience
You must have played RuneScape for at least 1 year to be accepted. Being involved with a clan and/or fansites is a bonus.

Professionalism
You will be representing SwiftKit on the world stage. You must recognise our viewpoints and be able to convey them maturely and always in favour of SwiftKit and its associates.

A team player
Sure, it's clichè, but all successful applicants will be able to work effectively and efficiently as part of a group. There's no "I" in "Team".

Willingness to learn
It goes without saying that you must be able to adapt quickly to the SwiftKit development scene.

Willingness to have fun
The team often like to have a laugh and joke around. If you are easily offended you need not apply. :)!
